Justice & Kaos - Theme Music EP (Red Giant)

EVEN if you’ve never heard of Melbourne hip-hop duo Justice & Kaos, their resume is enough to pique anyone’s interest.

In 2005, Justice became the first non-American to take out the highly-regarded Skribble Jam MC battle while the duo also garnered an ARIA nomination in 2007 and have toured with international superstars including Xzibit.
Theme Music is a prelude to J&K’s forthcoming CD and over just six tracks displays incredible diversity.
The title track is a gang-sung battle jam and the lyrically-adept Take My Cut is classic Oz hip-hop with a soul lean.

Standout Testify is head-nodding kick-back R’n’B, This Corner is a forceful double-time beast and Better With You ties in electronica over a smooth chorus.
To complete the picture, We Walk is tinged with a little rock and another standout.
